Science

"Happy is he who gets to know the reasons for things."

Virgil (70-19BCE)

Have you ever wanted to find out more about a particular aspect of science?

We aim to provide courses for everyone over the age of 18, whether or not you have any background in science. Our tutors enjoy sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with students of all ages and backgrounds. Our courses assume no prior knowledge of the subject but will quickly guide you throught the basic information that you need to discuss interesting aspects that you have always wanted to know more about. You will be taught in a relaxed friendly and informal style and many of our courses include practical work, field and museum visits.

We offer a varied programme of courses, day schools, weekly classes and residential science courses at Madingley Hall as well Certificate Programmes leading to a University award.

Susan Watson, the Director of our science programme, oversees all our science courses.
